At Nic’s Place we find a variety of ways to help guide you out of the fog.

First, we offer a way to connect on our Forum Page. Here we share thoughts and insights on how to overcome your daily challenges.  You are invited to share your thoughts and ask questions on this page as well.  Simply register by supplying your email address on the link provided.

Second, we connect through our monthly gathering. We invite you to come join us for an hour or two of coffee and conversation. It is a chance to learn from and about each other and explore our faith journey. Find out more on the events calendar listing the time and place of our next event.

Best of all, special invitations and reminders before they are posted on what’s going on at Nic’s Place.

Why Nic’s Place

We exist to provide fellowship and encouragement for the spiritually hungry through periodic gatherings.

We exist to connect our neighbors to faith and community based services we alone are not capable of providing

We exist to worship God through our offerings of service

We come just as we are.

What We Do:

We gather together once a month to share, encourage and pray together. We are a “free range” organic gathering where all are welcome to come, explore and be uplifted.

Mission:

To encourage and engage each other in our journeys through life. God gives us all a heart and brain through which to speak with each other, and Him through Jesus Christ.

How We Live

  1. To love the Lord our God with all our hearts, souls, and minds; and our neighbors as ourselves

  2. To be peacemakers in our homes and communities

  3. To be guides to those who seek

  4. To stand against injustice

What We Believe

I believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ, God's only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
he descended to the dead.
On the third day he rose again;
he ascended into heaven,
he is seated at the right hand of the Father,
and he will come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.

How We Pray

Our Father, which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy will be done in earth,
As it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive them that trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
The power, and the glory,
For ever and ever.
Amen.

My Utmost For His Highest

Daily Devotionals By Oswald Chambers
  • …I say to you, he who believes in Me,…greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. —John 14:12

Prayer does not equip us for greater works— prayer is the greater work. Yet we think of prayer as some commonsense exercise of our higher powers that simply prepares us for God’s work. In the teachings of Jesus Christ, prayer is the working of the miracle of redemption in me,…
