Why Nic’s Place

We exist to provide fellowship and encouragement for the spiritually hungry through periodic gatherings.

We exist to connect our neighbors to faith and community based services we alone are not capable of providing

We exist to worship God through our offerings of service

We come just as we are.

 

What We Do:

We gather together periodically to share, encourage and pray together. We are a “free range” organic gathering where all are welcome to come, explore and be uplifted.

How We Live

  1. To love the Lord our God with all our hearts, souls, and minds; and our neighbors as ourselves

  2. To be peacemakers in our homes and communities

  3. To be guides to those who seek

  4. To stand against injustice

What We Believe

We believe God created the universe

We believe Jesus Christ is God among us

and that belief in him and obedience to his teachings

provides life, joy, and peace everlasting

We believe in the Holy Spirit which connects us to Jesus 

We believe Jesus wants us to help each other along our journey with him

How We Pray

Eternal God, who is in heaven,
Hallowed be your Name.
Your Kingdom come. 
Your will be done in earth, 
As it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our failures,
As we forgive those who fail us. 
Help us when we are tempted, 
And deliver us from evil. 
For yours is the Kingdom, 
The power, and the glory, 
For ever and ever. 
Amen.
